The Store Front is a new start up and very small present part of our business. We primarily provide the “Laser Marking Service” for industrial manufacturers and personalization for the private sector. We will continually expand the store’s variety. Too, with Amazon Distribution next door products are generally available to us overnite, if custom selected.
Multiples, even just two, can reduce per piece “lasing cost” by 50, 60, 70, 80% or more !!! That’s because a one-piece personalized item requires setup… but once setup is accomplished… TADA ! the marking itself often only in seconds ! In the laser marking world process commands between $60 and $90 an hour. Picking near middle, at $72.00/hr, that means parts running through at $.02/second ($72/3600s). The Little Crosses run after the first piece set up, with a throughput of 5 seconds or $.10 each, the 2nd mug runs with a throughput of 45 seconds or $.90 each and the Knife running 120 seconds (wood and steel) for $2.40 production throughput. Typically a one item order encounters a $15 Setup charge, for fixturing/jig, program load, and order details completed.
