Decided after a 25+ year career in laser marking SPECIFICALLY (production 2yrs, field service 3yrs, R&D Laboratory for sales justification 11 yrs) for thousands of laser markers, ~$60,0000 back then, then add $20-50k for most workstation/automation setups from 1979-2005 to American and International manufacturers.
Also started in 1987 overlapping my career job, a laser marking contract shop, Lase-It, Inc. for 14 years, Orlando, Fl, marking over 3 MILLION parts. 2001 grossed $285,000 in laser marking services.
RECENTLY in latter years got a second ‘laser wind’, bought 6 laser systems (~$25k), 3 Galvo and 3 Flatbed, utilize 3 wavelengths, guarantees practically ALL materials marked. We will support again industry and add the “artsy” element for the general public’s personalization needs.
Temporarily operating from our office shop in Florence, Tx but will be moving into our new owned dedicated facility in Dripping Springs, Tx by summer 2025. In our past shop we NEVER lost a job to another competitor in those 14 years but we won them from them! It’s hard to beat, when knowledge and experience becomes “of full age” in a field, great is the satisfaction by all parties from the resultant work.
